Singapore is a reliable alternative. Given the short connection, we recommend 8–11 days in Bhutan.

Visa & Entry for
Vietnam Travellers
All international visitors to Bhutan — except Indian, Bangladeshi, and Maldivian nationals — must obtain a visa before travelling. The visa is applied through your licensed Bhutanese tour operator (Found Bhutan), costs USD 40 per person, and takes approximately 5–10 working days. Once approved, a visa clearance letter is emailed to you before departure.
Documents required: Valid Vietnamese passport with at least 6 months validity. Your Found Bhutan visa clearance letter. Vietnamese passport holders do not require a transit visa for airside connections via Bangkok or Singapore; if routing via Delhi or Kolkata on separate tickets, check Indian transit visa requirements in advance.
Sustainable Development Fee (SDF): USD 100 per person per night — a Government of Bhutan levy. Included in all Found Bhutan packages.
