Upon arriving at Paro International Airport, you'll begin your adventure with a visit to Paro Rinpung Dzong — the Fortress of Heaped Jewels. Experience the vibrant Paro Festival with traditional performances and rituals. Meet locals, enjoy casual conversations, and gain insights into their culture over a scenic picnic lunch. After a full day of exploration, relax with an overnight stay in Paro.

Start with an early morning drive to Paro Rinpung Dzong to witness the unveiling of the Thongdrol — a large, intricately crafted religious thangka depicting Guru Rinpoche. The term "Thongdrol" translates to "liberation upon seeing" or "instant enlightenment through viewing" — one of the most sacred moments in the Bhutanese calendar.

Afterwards, take a scenic one-hour drive to Thimphu, visiting Tachogang Lhakhang and crossing an ancient iron suspension bridge along the way. Explore a local craft bazaar to discover unique Bhutanese handicrafts before settling in for an overnight stay in Thimphu.

Embark on a full-day excursion through Thimphu Valley, beginning at the Memorial Chorten, then heading to Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Point) for views of the 51.5-metre Shakyamuni Buddha statue and panoramic valley views.

Continue to the Simply Bhutan Museum, the Takin Preserve, and Zorig Chusum — the School of 13 Traditional Arts and Crafts. Visit the Jungshi Handmade Paper Factory, then explore Tashi Chho Dzong — the Fortress of Splendid Religion and seat of the Dragon King. End the day at the Centenary Farmers Market before a restful overnight stay in Thimphu.

Begin with a two-hour scenic drive from Thimphu to Punakha Valley. Stop at Dochula Pass (3,150 metres) to admire 108 chortens built in honour of Bhutanese soldiers, and explore nearby meditation caves for a glimpse into Bhutan's spiritual practices.

Continue to the Sangchen Dorji Lhendrup Nunnery for a chance to interact with resident nuns and learn about their spiritual dedication before arriving in Punakha for the night.

Start with a 30-minute hike to the Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Stupa, surrounded by stunning mountain views. Visit the iconic Punakha Dzong — an architectural masterpiece at the confluence of two rivers — then cross Bhutan's longest suspension bridge spanning 160 metres.

Pay a visit to Chimi Lhakhang, the renowned Fertility Temple. In the afternoon, take a three-hour drive to Paro for a relaxing overnight stay.

Embark on a 5-hour trek to the iconic Taktsang Monastery — Tiger's Nest — perched magnificently on the cliffs of the Paro Valley. After the hike, unwind with a traditional hot stone bath, a soothing and restorative Bhutanese practice.

For a fun cultural experience, try your hand at traditional archery — Bhutan's beloved national sport — before a restful overnight stay in Paro.
