Visa & Entry for
Israel Travellers
All international visitors to Bhutan — except Indian, Bangladeshi, and Maldivian nationals — must obtain a visa before travelling. The visa is applied through your licensed Bhutanese tour operator (Found Bhutan), costs USD 40 per person, and takes approximately 5–10 working days. Once approved, a visa clearance letter is emailed to you before departure.
Documents required: Valid Israeli passport with at least 6 months validity. Your Found Bhutan visa clearance letter. Israeli passport holders should confirm current visa-free/transit arrangements for the Dubai connection directly with the relevant airline or UAE authorities before booking, as these can change; the Dubai–Paro Druk Air leg itself does not require a separate transit visa.
Sustainable Development Fee (SDF): USD 100 per person per night — a Government of Bhutan levy. Included in all Found Bhutan packages.

Paro International Airport is Bhutan’s only international airport and one of the world’s most dramatic. From Israel, the most practical routing is via dubai, then Druk Air or Bhutan Airlines onward to Paro.
